The February 2025 releases of Dentrix Canada include the following features:

Appointment Book
- (Beta only) In the Appointment Book, the Add a New Patient dialog box was redesigned allowing you to enter all the new patient information you need to create a minor’s new patient file while simultaneously creating the minor’s appointment. The redesigned Add a New Patient dialog box was also added to the Family File to streamline the process for creating a minor’s new patient file.
- (Beta only) In the Appointment Book, the Add a New Patient dialog box was redesigned allowing you to enter all the new patient information you need to create a new patient file while creating an appointment for the new patient simultaneously. The redesigned Add a New Patient dialog box was also added to the Family File to streamline the process for creating a new patient.
- A minimum size limit was added to the Appointment Book to prevent the What’s New, Chat, and Practice Notifications icons from being hidden when the Appointment Book was re-sized.
Office Manager
- You can now replace the default operatory titles in the Appointment Book with more descriptive ones, and using the Appointment Book’s Setup View dialog box, you can change the order of the Appointment Book’s columns to be more reflective of how your office is set up.
- The Practice Resource Setup dialog box was modified to make setting up resources in Dentrix more intuitive.
Miscellaneous
- If you re-size and/or relocate the Practice Notifications window and then close the Practice Notifications window or the Appointment Book, the Practice Notifications window reopens in the same size and location as you closed it.
- In the Signature Manager, the Note Date in Clinical Notes is now the same date as the appointment date.
Bug Fixes
- The Send Referral password permission was missing in Dentrix Canada. (25.2)
- If you refreshed the Document Center after selecting an improperly formatted provider, Dentrix selected a new provider at random. (25.2)
- In the Document Center, the warning that appeared when you cleared the All Document Types checkbox did not close when you re-selected the All Document Types checkbox. (25.2)
- Filtering documents in the Document Center by family returned incorrect results. (25.2)
- Dentrix modules incorrectly resized automatically when Scaling/DPI in Microsoft Windows is set over 100%. (25.2)
- If you enable Chart Notations in the Patient Chart, make notations for the selected patient, and then select a new patient, the notations you made for the first patient are incorrectly applied to the new selected patient. (25.2)
- Dentrix Canada incorrectly included password permissions that only apply the US version of Dentrix. (25.2)
- Dentrix incorrectly allowed you to change a provider from Primary to Secondary. (25.3)
- The Enhancement Request option was missing from the Help menu in the Family File. (25.3)
- If you removed a payment using the Import Payment dialog box, the payment was not removed until you closed and then re-opened the dialog box. (25.3)
- Items in the Select Patient dialog box do not display correctly when you use a high resolution or a 4k monitor. (25.3)
- In the Select Patient dialog box, if you right-clicked a patient’s name in the Previously Selected Patients list, and then clicked More Info, the previously selected patient incorrectly appeared in the More Info dialog box. (25.3)
- When you sent a claim for a selected patient, the Document Center opened for the wrong patient. (25.3)
- In the Ledger, the estimated patient portion and estimated dental insurance portion were incorrect if the patient had primary and secondary insurance coverage. (25.3)
- If you clicked the Advanced Search tab in the Select Guarantor dialog box, the search results returned the names of non-guarantors. (25.3)
- You were unable to activate or add new users if you enabled Active Directory. (25.3)
- An Unhandled Exception error occurred if you selected a specific patient for Rx Report. (25.3)
