The March 2025 releases of Dentrix Canada include the following features:

- You can now reset provider and staff passwords.
- DDX Referrals is an online platform that allows you to communicate digitally with dental specialist practices.
- The Imaging Center now installs automatically when you install Dentrix.
- An option allowing you to automatically print iTrans responses including EOBs was added to Print Options in the Preferences dialog box.
- In the Update Manager, Automatic Updates is now set to On by default.
- DDX now installs automatically when you install Dentrix.
Bug Fixes
- When you printed prescription notes, the text was cut off if it exceeded three lines. Prescription notes can now have up to five lines of text. (25.4)
- During a new installation of Dentrix, the System Requirements screen listing unmet requirements did not appear. (25.4)
- Month end totals were not calculated correctly. (25.4)
- Documents imported from Dentrix G6.5, G6.6, and G7.0 could not be previewed in Dentrix 23.1 and later. (25.4)
- After you disabled passwords, Dentrix modules stopped responding if you clicked Change Password or Password Security Questions Setup from the logged in user menu. (25.4)
- The Office Manager stopped responding after you submitted claims in Dentrix 25.1 and 25.2. (25.4)
- In Quick Label, changing the name of a label applied the new name to the wrong appointment. (25.5)
- The Patient Chart stopped responding when you deleted a large number of misspelled words in Clinical Notes. (25.5)
- The Client Service sometimes incorrectly attached the wrong IP address in last IP if an office has installed a virtual NIC. (25.5)
- In the Document Center, if you opened unfiled documents and clicked Refresh, an unhandled exception incorrectly appeared. (25.5)
- When users encountered the “Dentrix was unable to access the DTX Common folder” error, they were prompted to enter their credentials. If they did not provide their credentials immediately–either by clicking No on the initial prompt or by clicking Yes and then canceling–they were incorrectly prompted to register Dentrix, even if their registration was complete. (25.5)
- Unless you used the Borderless print option, items did not line up correctly when you printed the J43424 Dental Claim Form. (25.5)
- If you set a monitor’s resolution to 1440 x 2900, the New Patient dialog box did not display correctly. (25.5)
- The default dentition was not set to Primary for all new patients aged 10 and younger. (25.5)
- When you added a new patient to an existing family, the record was not deleted when you cancelled the new patient appointment and selected Discard appointment & new patient info. In addition, no notification appeared if you exceeded the family member limit of 18. (25.5)
- Users were unable to add new patients through the Family File or the Appointment Book. (25.5)
- You incorrectly received an Attachment Accepted or an Attachment not Accepted report from Secondary Insurance providers if you sent an attachment with a secondary claim. (25.5)
- If you added a new patient to an existing family from the Appointment Book and then deleted the new patient and appointment, all of the existing family’s member records were deleted. (25.5)
- If you cancelled Reset Password, Dentrix did not report when the Password Reset was completed. (25.5)
- The Task Scheduler stopped responding if you enabled legacy mode, selected Recalculate Total, and then clicked Run Now. (25.5)
- An error occurred if you tried to create a new Quick Label. (25.5)
