New Patient Intake Process
We’re excited to introduce a faster, more efficient way to bring new patients into your practice. Our updated intake process simplifies appointment scheduling by collecting essential patient and insurance information before the patient even walks through the door.
Here’s what’s new:
Simplified Pediatric Setup
- Easily create a non-patient head-of-household at the same time as you enter pediatric patients records.
Instant Family Assignment
- Assign new patients to an existing family at the time of creation, automatically sharing address and billing details.
Track No-Shows with Ease
- Patients who miss their first appointment are automatically added to the Unscheduled New Patient List. You can clean up these records manually or let Dentrix handle it for you.

- When you open Dentrix Imaging, a splash screen appears announcing an improved workflow for taking X-rays using your DEXIS sensor. Also included is a video tour of Dentrix Imaging.
