You will no longer be able to install Dentrix on Microsoft Windows 10 after 30 June 2026.
The June 2026 release of Dentrix Canada includes the following features:
- Dentrix Imaging
- Claims Manager
- Bug Fixes
Dentrix Imaging
- A Magnify tab was added to the Impact panel to provide zoomed-in views of AI-detected findings, including caries and PRL, across supported AI providers.
- If any tool other than One Click Tools is active, the Magnify tab is inactive, and explanatory messaging appears.
Claims Manager
- If you filter unsent or sent claims using date filters such as Last 30 Days, Last 60 Days, or Last 90 Days, the filter that was selected when you closed the Claims Manager remains selected when you reopen the Claims Manager. However, the start date advances according to the calendar date. For example, if you originally opened the Claims Manager on May 5 and filtered claims for the last 60 days, and then reopened the Claims Manager May 6, the filter would still be Last 60 Days, but the start date would advance to May 6.
- The word “Yes” appears in the Attachment column when claims (unsent or sent) have one or more attachments.
Bug Fixes
- If the Windows Smart App Controls were enabled, you could not install Dentrix.
- Pressing the Tab key to navigate the cards in the redesigned Claim and Preauthorization Estimate windows did not work as designed.
- The latest version of the Claims Manager would not open.
- The Patient Chart was slow to open based on the number of procedures in the Ledger.
- The Forms window incorrectly opened when you adjusted the time of an event in the Appointment Book by dragging the border of the event.
- An error message (Unable to Add Note) inappropriately appeared when you tried to save a Clinical Note.
- If you acquired an image with Image Verify disabled, and then enabled Image Verify and acquired a new image, the “No Quality Information Available” banner incorrectly appeared for the image you acquired after enabling Image Verify.
- The Magnify panel did not update vignettes when you used the Select object(s) to display dialog box to toggle the AI display.
- An error message inappropriately appeared when you tried to reassign a 3D volume.
- If the Edit Access right was disabled, you could not view images in Big Template mode.
- After you required an Ortho Report, the image did not open in the single-image view.
