The July releases of Dentrix Canada include the following features:
- Dentrix Imaging
- Patient Chart
- Miscellaneous
- Bug Fixes
Dentrix Imaging
- You can now upload your practice’s logo into the center section of the Ortho Report Composer, so that your logo appears on all composite documents submitted to insurance carriers.
- Any text in the center section of the Composer rearranges automatically when you add a logo so that the logo and patient information appear without overlap.
- You can crop your practice’s logo in the Composer without an external image editor.
- You can zoom and pan your practice’s logo in the Composer to position and scale the logo without having to crop any information from it.
- You can now set up your computer to enable or disable the Magnify feature for thumbnail images.
- Unfilled image slots in the Ortho Report PDF now appear as white space.
- All clinical images in the Ortho Report PDF appear without border, frame, rounded corner, or background so that the document meets the clean formatting standards required for Medicaid and insurance claim submissions.
- The image slot labels were removed from, and the image slots were enlarged in, the Ortho Report preview.
- Patient information now appears as a single-line header at the top of the Ortho Report preview and PDF.
- The center slot in the Ortho Report preview or PDF appears as white space or a practice logo.
Patient Chart
- The Smart Image option in the Panels menu was changed to Imaging. This same change was made in other areas of Dentrix.
- Performance enhancements decreased the amount of time it takes to open the Patient Chart.
Miscellaneous
- The restriction that prevented installing Dentrix on computers running Microsoft Windows 10 has been removed.
- Performance enhancements were made to the Appointment Book.
