The August release of Dentrix Canada includes the following features:

Family File
- When you click File > Clear Family, the Edit menu is now disabled.
- When you are working with a patient A’s secondary insurance, switch to patient B, and then go back to patient A, patient A’s primary insurance provider is selected by default.
Dentrix Imaging
- You can now view a tour that introduces the new features available to you in Dentrix Imaging.
- If you have Detect AI, the Detect AI tab is now selected by default in the Impact panel.
- If you are using the Modality view, you can now select a default enhancement for Simple Mode acquisitions of intraoral X-ray series.
Miscellaneous
- Several enhancements were made to circumvent unauthorized database access.
- The default date filter in the Claims Manager’s Unsent tab is now Last 30 Days.
- The default age filter in the Claims Manager’s Sent tab is now Age 7 – 30.
- The End User License Agreement (EULA) in the Dentrix install application was updated.
Bug Fixes
- An error message appeared when you tried to switch layouts in the Patient Chart.
- If you selected and/or cleared an option in the Narrow done the results menu, the Tools tab lost focus.
- If you acquired images using the DEXIS/Kavo Sensors and disconnected the sensor, the disconnection was not detected.
- When a dialog box contained a scrollbar, the entire dialog box scrolled, not just the contents of the dialog box.
- When you finished the AIDE view, findings that you had hidden were visible again instead of remaining hidden.
- The Image Toolkit in the Ortho Report did not display correctly.
- If you rearranged an exam in the Exam View, an error sometimes occurred.
- In the More Options dialog box in the Modality View, the cursor transformed into the pointer icon inappropriately.
- You could select or clear a check box without hovering the mouse pointer over it.
- Images in the Magnify tab contained extra black spaces.
- The date format in the Ortho Report no longer appears in the U.S. format.
